Electric Vehicle Charging Station

The Fountain Hills Condominium operates an electric vehicle (EV) charging station located at 18701 Club Plaza Drive. Look for the EV Charging Station in the Condominium parking area below the Fountain Hills Pool. The EV charging station is available to community residents and the general public. A valid Condominium parking permit is required to leave a vehicle unattended overnight.

Vehicles using the EV charger pay for the cost of the electricity consumed. The current cost to use the EV charger is 20 cents per kilowatt hour ($0.20 per KwH).

There is a $1.00 minimum charge for each charging session (@ 50 minutes of charging). If your vehicle is not removed at the end of your charging session, there is a $4.00 per hour service charge. There is a 30 minute grace period before the service charge is applied

An active ChargePoint network account (or participating affiliate) is necessary to begin a charging session. To obtain a free ChargePoint key tag from the Fountain Hills Condominium, complete an application and send to fountainhillscondominium@gmail.com.

The Fountain Hills Condominium received grants from the Maryland Energy Administration and PEPCO for the purchase, installation and operation of the EV charging station.
