New Shuttle Service between Kingsview Park and Ride Lot and Germantown MARC Station to Begins January 30thStarting Monday, January 30, Montgomery County’s Ride On bus system is
partnering with the Maryland Transit Administration MARC Train to ease
commutes for Germantown MARC train passengers. A new shuttle service,
Ride On Route 94, will transport passengers during peak commuting times
between the Kingsview Park and Ride Lot, located at Clopper Road
(Maryland Route 117) and Kingsview Village Avenue, and the Germantown
MARC station. Passengers using the new service will be dropped off and
picked up immediately adjoining the train station.
Morning shuttle service will leave from the Kingsview Park and Ride Lot
for the MARC Station at 7:25, 7:42 and 8:02 a.m. In the evening, the
shuttle will depart the MARC Station for the return trip to the
Kingsview Park and Ride Lot at 4:21, 4:36, 5:13, 6:05, 6:29, 6:51, 7:19
and 8:01 p.m. If MARC is running late in the evening, the service will
“meet the MARC” by waiting for the next train to arrive.
Riders who have a MARC weekly, MARC monthly or TLC ticket simply show it
to the bus operator and ride free, the same as on all Ride On buses.
Other riders will be charged the regular fare of $1.50 for SmarTrip
users or $1.70 for passengers paying the fare with cash or other Ride On
fare media.

Washington Gas will inspect all condominium units on Saturday December 3rd 2011 between the hours of 8a.m. - 1p.m. Since technicians will be going from unit to unit, they do not know the exact time they will be performing the inspection in your particular unit. If you have anything that is blocking the access to the gas meter, they ask that you make a clear path so that they can complete the survey in a timely manner.

The Fountain Hills Condominium Association's Annual Meeting will occur on Thursday, November 10th at 7:00 p.m. at the Germantown Community Center.

The Fountain Hills Condominium Association would like to thank all the residents who participated in the dryer vent cleaning in July. The majority of units' dryer vents were cleaned of debris. The board is currently working on drafting resolutions regarding a cleaning schedule for dryer vents and HVAC units. Please look for communications on these resolutions in the near future.
The fall landscaping projects are complete. You may have noticed additional plants and trees around the community as well as the trimming and maintenance of existing plants and trees. Our goal is to maintain the look of our current landscaping and to replace plants that have not lasted over the years.
You may also have noticed new fencing around the trash corals. The previous wooden structure around the four corals was beginning to deteriorate and was in need of replacement. The board opted to install a vinyl perimeter due to aesthetics and durability. In the near future signs will be posted on the corals indicating that they are for condominium use only. In the meantime, please be aware that all trash should be placed inside a bin (not on the floor) and recycling should be placed in the appropriate containers.

Moonbounce and other children activities will be provided.

The Social Committee is seeking volunteers on the date of the event to:
1) Set-up and take down
2) Monitor the moonbounce
3) Grill hamburgers, hot dogs, and vege burgers
4) Assist children activities
