Reminders to Help Make This a Safe Holiday Season

posted Dec 6, 2017, 6:05 PM by Fountain Hills Condominium   [ updated Dec 10, 2017, 5:58 PM ]

Here are some tips to help make this a safe and enjoyable holiday season for all owners and residents:
  • Please remember to water live Christmas trees to reduce the risk of fire from hot lights and decorations
  • Please feel free to show your holiday spirit by decorating your patio or balcony. Don't place lights or decorations in common areas or on Condominium landscaping, trees or bushes.
  • When cooking, please do not pour food grease down your sink drain. This can cause the waste drains to clog which results in sewage flooding lower level units. Dispose of grease in your household trash
Happy Holidays from the Fountain Hills Condominium!

Looked at Your Hot Water Heater Lately?

posted Mar 29, 2015, 2:36 PM by Fountain Hills Condominium   [ updated May 15, 2017, 7:22 PM ]

The older the water heater, the more likely it is to break down. There have been several recent “failures” of water heaters at Fountain Hills Condominium resulting in thousands of dollars in damages to homes.  These occurrences are costing all Condominium owners as the insurance premiums are increasing and will result in higher condominium monthly assessments.

As a general rule of thumb, electric water heaters last 8 to 10 years, while gas water heaters may have a slightly shorter lifespan of 6 to 8 years.

Fountain Hills Condominium Units are 18-20 years old

If you still have the original water heater, you have an accident waiting to happen!  If your water heater fails and causes damage to your Unit and neighboring Units, you will be faced with paying the first $5,000.00 in costs.

Please have your water heater checked by a qualified plumber.

Pick Up After Your Pet - Every Time

posted Feb 9, 2013, 6:54 AM by Fountain Hills Condominium

Even if no one sees the dog doing his business. Clean it up for all the right reasons.

Dog poop is toxic, contaminates the ground and can pass intestinal parasites and infections to other dogs and people, especially children.

Use the dog waste station in the Fountain Common Area. Please be a good neighbor and pick up after your dog.
